Membership settings are based on our San Juan Alumni Association Bylaws.
Automatic Start Date for NEW Membership:
Fixed Date: ALL NEW memberships begin on January 1st, regardless of which day they are purchased. Memberships will begin on this date for all transactions between the fixed date January 1st and November 30th. Memberships created outside this window will automatically begin on the same start date of the next year. This option should only be used for annual membership terms.
Automatic Start Date for RENEWAL Membership:
Fixed Date: All renewed memberships begin on January 1st, regardless of which day they are renewed. Memberships will begin on this date for all transactions between the fixed date of January 1st and May 31st. Memberships created outside this window will automatically begin on the same start date of the next year.
Couples Membership: When the Primary Members (Couples) renew, you will be presented with the option to renew all sub-members (spouse, partner, etc.) together and give them the same start date as the primary membership. Couples membership assumes and will create a Household Account.
Membership Grace Period – How many days after expiration can a member renew their membership? ONE YEAR – After that time period you will need to Re-Join the Alumni Association.
Membership Status – All members may create an Account on our SJAA MEMBERS ONLY Web Portal where you can view your Personal Information on file, Status of your Membership, Pay Dues, Donate to the SJAA, etc.
