San Juan High School 100 Years of History

2013 Centennial Celebration 

In 2013 San Juan High School turned 100 years old! San Juan High has been a staple of the Citrus Heights community since it first started educating students in 1913. San Juan High continues to provide an exceptional educational experience by challenging students with a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum that meets the eligibility requirements for application to California’s public colleges and universities.
Join them in celebrating 100 years of history by visitng www.sanjuan.edu/sjhs100 to learn about many of the exciting festivities taking place now through June 3, 2014. In addition, a video is available to view on their website that includes a collection of interviews and photos from graduates, teachers and principals through the years telling their story and experiences at San Juan High School. One of the events taking place is an Alumni Centennial Celebration on Saturday, October 26th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at San Juan High School.
The celebration included a legacy exhibit, campus tours, classic cars, steam engines and agricultural equipment, and an enjoy lunch in the San Juan High culinary arts restaurant and much more!

All graduating classes were invited to visit the school to see how it had changed.
They shared their memories while attending San Juan High School. 
Our oldest alumni interviewed was 82. 
She has been active in her alumni association since the day she graduated
and is a part of providing many scholarships to graduating seniors.
It makes us proud to be a part of this local community!
